I am so thankful for the father of my kids, and I have so many reasons to be thankful.

On Mother’s Day, I decided to start to create a list of the many things I appreciate my hubby, the father of my children.

He is …

– loves God
– loves me
– loves our three kids
– loves his parents
– works hard
– sacrifices for his family
– makes time for school events
– makes time for questions
– looks after our vehicles
– pays our bills
– loads the dishwasher
– cleans the kitchen after dinner
– answers the home phone
– is wise
– does not act before thinking
– sees the best in others
– values commitment
– values life
– hopes for the best
– deals with the pool … all of it!
– is here
– is different from me
– encourages
– is flexible when I need something
– is flexible when our kids need something
– says ‘yes’ more than ‘no’
– is a helper
– desires to improve our family’s life
– endures the beast 😉
– takes the kids out for a birthday breakfast
– he models sensitivity to others
– he made it possible for me to be home with our kids when they were young
– he understands when I need to get a break from people
– he can, and does, open jars for me
– he makes the kids school lunches

These are just some of the things that I am thankful for the father of my kids. Looking at the things that I am thankful for, makes life’s cup seem more than half full.

Happy Fathers Day, Hubby.
