I hate waiting!

I am convinced that it is representative of my undiagnosed ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder).

Impatience is me …

that could be my own personal tag line.

The most viewed post of this past week had a bit to do with waiting and patience.

Though the post, Move That Bus was only posted yesterday, it was the most viewed of the entire week.

Maybe I am not the only one who struggles with waiting and impatience …

Also this week :

Sunday Surprise
(a snowy Sabbath rest)

His Eye
(when we have hit the wall and become motionless, we are not alone)

Name Calling
(on Anti-Bullying Day, a bit about the name God calls us)

White Wonder
(a little walking in a winter wonderland)

Blessings to you this day,
Carole

It is the day after the day that celebrates love, and when it comes to celebrating Valentine’s Day we are either awakening on one side of the bed, or the other.

The sun has risen again, and a new day has begun, no matter what yesterday looked like, it is history. Intriguingly enough, the most viewed post of this week was one word, and not a word that most would list as describing the day of love. The post titled, alone was the number one, but don’t think it is a downer, or pathetic, or fatalistic. Quite the contrary!

Also this week :

Quiet Rest
(how a sick day can become a sabbath in disguise)

More Than Just Cake
(we need more than cake … we need icing too)

Midlife
(midlife is not just about looking back, but also looking forward)

Valentines Day
(love, it means more than we think)

Blessings to you this day,
Carole

The middle of January has now come and gone. We are all in the midst of the dark days of winter, hoping and praying that the light of spring might start to be evidenced in lighter mornings and afternoons.

Hoping and praying …

This week, it was the post Hopeful Grief that was the most viewed. Thoughts that started as I read the email of a woman announcing that she had walked her husband home. Home meaning eternity, home meaning … hope.

Also this week :

A New Shower Puff Scrubs Rough
(sometimes we need the old scrubbed away, even if it hurts for awhile)

The Year of the Lords Favor
(looking forward with hope)

Resolute
(the one word challenge, that it seems so many are doing)

Letting It All Hang Out
(ever want to let your indoor voice outside?)

Here’s a ‘bonus’ on the theme of walking someone home.

Blessings to you this weekend,
Carole

Well we all survived the first week back

to work,

to school,

to regular routines.

How are you? Busy? That was the most viewed post of the week. I believe that busy is the dirty little four-letter word that doesn’t start with ‘F’ but everyone uses or wears like a badge of armor.

Also this week were :

Little Things
(the little things we do are big things)

Positivity is the Key to Success
(thinking positively can be good for your health)

Cleaning House
(how packing Christmas away helped me to finally celebrate it)

The Look of Freedom
(sometimes the look of freedom comes from escaping, but sometimes …)

Blessings on your week,Carole

Is it really 2014?

I remember when the calendar turned 2000 … hum, now I sound old!

That is how it is with time … it moves so very quickly … faster with each year … you could almost say that Time Flies. And that was the most viewed post this week, published on the first day of the new year. A post, and a then-and-now picture of my kids that was my eyes-wide-opened reminder of the race of time.

Also this week were :

Look Closer
(those who are older were once our age too)

Word of the Year
(a challenge to choose a word, rather than make a resolution, for the New Year)

Forward
(what direction are you entering 2014 looking?)

What do the Stats Say?
(a little thank-you … to you)

Blessings on your week,
Carole

This first week of Christmas brought a few wandering snowflakes and was chilly in my Northwest Coast. I am still awaiting the arrival of those first flakes that stay on the ground (and cause school administration to shake their heads, resulting in the phone tree and FaceBook being abuzz with the announcement of “NO SCHOOL TODAY”).

This week of Christmas themed posts resulted in Singing from the Soul being the most viewed.

Also this week :

Please put a Penny in the Old Mans Hat
(an old ditty with a great meaning)

Expected Gifts
(it is in the unexpected that delight can be the greatest)

Christmas Lights
(wonder in the eyes of the beholder … and aren’t we all beholders?)

Love Came Down
(God’s choice of using a Daughter of Eve as the most important vessel)

Blessings to you this week,

Carole

best-of-week-logoGood morning!

Not only is it a Saturday, but it is a Saturday with one extra hour to sleep!

This week, the most viewed post was Sacrifice For Greater Good. A reminder that all achievements are made with one sacrificial step. Truly greater love has no one than this …

Also this week were …

This Is Amazing Grace
(a new song, and an age-old reminder)

The Door With No Handle
(the important doors in life do not always have handles)

Memories Of Halloweens Past Again
(down memory lane with me at Halloween)

Looking To Be Filled
(food ain’t gonna fill this hole inside)

Blessings to you this day,Carole
